Much has been said about the number of ballot petitions that are currently rushing to secure enough signature to appear on the November ballot. There are eleven of them listed on the Nebraska Secretary of State website.
You probably saw the news over the weekend. Pornhub is moving out of Nebraska. They are blocking their online content in Nebraska. Why?
The issue is bigger than property taxes. It is Nebraska’s overall tax burden and that burden is causing Nebraskans to leave the state. Dr. Goss also said “I’m sorry to tell you, Iowa is moving aggressively toward reducing their tax burden. Nebraska must move in the same direction.”
There is now a 3rd petition drive to determine the life, or death, of an unborn child. The petition drive filed with the Nebraska Secretary of State titled “Now Choose Life” is the only one of the three that stands for life.
