Enforcement is another part of Federalism. State and local governments can choose not to assist in the enforcement of federal law to include immigration.

The other side we are talking about is illegal immigration. This is where people come into this country illegally or they stay beyond their initial terms.

This bill would require public schools, post secondary institutions, and state agencies to post signs designating male and female locker rooms and restrooms. Family restroom signs would also be designated.

LB1050 looks to address Nebraska's failing education system, specifically reading proficiency among the states elementary students.

Maybe the question should be - what do you like most? When someone says they are going to do something for you but never does or when someone says they are not going to do something but then they do?

A bill was introduced by then Senator DiAnna Schimek which allowed children of undocumented immigrants in Nebraska to pay in-state tuition at state colleges and universities as long as they met the necessary set of requirements.

Nebraska is not immune to this growing problem. You see reports of Nebraska educators being charged and prosecuted for crimes of child sexual abuse and/or assault on what seems like a weekly basis.

Why is it important that independent contractors or others working at a school but who are not technically a school employee be included with state statute 28-316.01 "Sexual abuse by a school employee; penalty"?

You may ask what the difference is between an "eligible alien" and "illegal alien". Unfortunately, rhetoric plays a role in political and public debates.

Voting by mail and absentee voting meant the same thing to most Americans prior to the 2020 election. Absentee voting has been a staple in the United States since the civil war.

However, it will take more than a cursory search to find anything beyond the harms of conversion therapy. So you may want to start by looking at the opposite of conversion therapy.
